Fallowfield Halls of Residence development – Unsworth Park
Between 2017 and 2019, 1,122 ensuite bedrooms will be built in eight blocks of self-catering student accommodation. The development is on vacant land adjacent to Richmond Park Halls of Residence and the Armitage Sports Centre.
The development will bring the University’s accommodation up to date and in line with the expectations of today’s students and their parents.
The Hall of Residence is named after Ron Unsworth who studied History at the University, was an Olympic hurdler in the 1940s, and went on to be a long standing advocate of University of Manchester sports development and the Athletics Union.
Students joining the University for 2019–20 will be able to apply to live at the Hall; the online application process will go live in December 2018. Find out more about our university accommodation.
